Announcing the OpenBSD presence during the CCC SummerCamp 2003(*)
----------------------------------------------------------------
(*) which will now be refered to as 'OpenBSD SummerCamp 2003'
Thursday 7 August till Sunday 10 August 2003
All info on http://eurobsd.org/SummerCamp2003/
Hello,
You might remember us from such mishaps and hangovers like HAL 2001,
(see http://www.eurobsd.org/hal2001/), Libre Software Meeting and
LinuxTag... Wel, we are at it again.
OpenBSD will be present at the CCC SummerCamp 2003 in Paulshof, a small
district of the city of Altlandsberg near Berlin, Germany.
(more info: http://www.ccc.de/camp/2003/index.en.html)
We'll be providing a roof over the head for any OpenBSD user or developer
interested spending 4 days in a field near Berlin. Available are tent space
for hacking, a seperate dark/silent tent for sleeping and lots of opportunities
to go skinny dipping in a nearby lake. We've been garanteed by Mr Muhammed
Saeed al-Sahaf that there will be, and I repeat, no rain this year
(contrary to HAL 2 years ago). In any case, we have 140 m^2 tentspace
to keep us out of rain *and* sun. And a stocked fridge with Gulden Draak.
If you are interested in attending this event, please register first with
the SummerCamp organizers using https://register.camp.ccc.de/
Second step is to register your presence in the BSD Tent, using the
web form at http://eurobsd.org/SummerCamp2003/register.html
For any questions, please contact wim@kd85.com
See you on the campground!
Wim.

For payment, select pre-arranged and put SUMMERCAMP in the 'comments' box.
Any 'specials', like hooded sweaters, add them to the 'comments' box too.
If you can't remember what happend at HAL2001, see http://eurobsd.org/hal2001/
Question: What does a bed look like?
Answer: They are camping beds. Pure basic.
Question: Will it be dark at night?
Answer: We have lights
Question: I don't like warm beer. What can you offer?
Answer: There will be a fridge. You will have the pleasure of getting your hands on Gulden Draak, so bring your drinking money.

Question: Can I bring my own exotic toys?
Answer: As long as it does not need 3 phase power
Question: Will I look out of place if I'm a total OpenBSD geek?
Answer: Like duh. This is a geek event ;-)
Question: Is it true this year there is a no alcohol policy and strict dress code?
Answer: This year there is a no no alcohol policy. You are free to overdress as you like. Nudity only in the lake please.
PS: the lake only thing is for *MALES* while *FEMALES* are free to run wild naked everywhere!
Question: Is it true Wim killed somebody two years ago after he got woken up too early in the eh morning(??)?
Answer: No comment!
Unfortunatly, nobody has ever heard again from the photographer of this picture.
To avoid repeats of this happening again, this year we have a SEPERATE tent
for sleeping.
A silence & darkness only policy will be enforced, even if
it means kicking you out of the tent.
And I don't care if you are drunk or that it is raining outside.
